Imolites laud Okorocha for using Imo Foundation to help less privileged


Imolites have continued to laud Gov. Rochas Okorocha and his wife Ugonneoma Nkechi Okorocha for using the Imo Foundation which was established with the clear mandate to make the poor in the state smile and which has been performing wonderfully well in the discharge of its responsibility.
Among those who are saying the good work of the foundation is worth commending is a blind man from Umudike Ohaji/Egbema Council Area, Mr Maxwell Ebiku whose equally blind wife who is eight months pregnant, had been provided all hospital requirements for the birth of their child from baby needs to the mother needs,. as well as money for ante- natal care, scan and regular
check-up.
Mr. Ebiku who accompanied his wife to the foundation for the presentation recently could not hide his joy on what the governor had been during through the foundation, saying his family is an eloquent testament of the great humanitarian job the government is doing. through the foundation.
He said the foundation had always stood by him and his wife since they got married few years ago and has been providing their needs which had gone a long way in reducing sufferings and hardships they face as a blind couple.
Also, speaking in the same vein, Mrs Bridget Onuchukwu, another blind beneficiary of the foundation whose two surviving children are also blind said, she and her children would have perished if not for the kind gesture of Gov. Rochas Ökorocha through the foundation.
She said the care of the government has restored the hope of her family in life and living, stressing that with the new lease of life they are enjoying under the Rescue Administration, it was now possible to look to the future with great expectation.
